Many local colleges offer certification programs in event planning. I would also check with the International Special Events Society ISES.COM) as they offer a certification program and have many local networking chapters. That is all good advice. I like to attend trade shows that specifically cater to our industry. Also, marketing is key because there are so many of us out there. where do you currently advertise or market your company? Call Kim if you need anything, she is very accessible and her organization knows how to market our industry. I have already called her about 25 times!! Good luck.
